Penny Short - The Wheel
One of the more recent tracks recorded at the studio.
This song was recorded by Trudg in 1998. This was recorded basically live except for the vocal layering. Check it out, it is in .mp3 format, and only 2.8mb for the whole song.
This song was recorded by Eyeteeth in late 1997. It is 4.8mb, but an excellent example of studio tricks. I leave this track as an example because I learned recording the old fashioned way. With TAPE! Once upon a time, it wasn't about limitless punch-ins, endless drag and drop, copy and paste, autotune, and unlimited use of FX. There are 31 individual tracks in this song, recorded back when the studio had only 16. There's a lot of old school know how and true engeneering going on in this mix.
